Started so I wouldn't be sick til I coped some dope I was homeless living in a tent and started IOP the nurses and staff made sure I had food everyday and made sure my sister and I both had warm clothes and blankets and things and then i became hospitalized for several weeks and they helped me when I got out as well... I decided to take my life back! The counselors are really caring and involved in your recovery, so much better than some of the dose and go methadone clinics I've been to in the past. Now I am going through a very tough time With my recovery both with my addiction and my wounds healing from my injuries and the nurses have been beyond anything I could have expected and me struggling with not using to deal with the worst pain I've been in on top of everything but with these open wounds and infections I've had using dope would be a bad idea. I have a long road ahead but with proper care from Insight and the amazing staff they have I know I can heal not only my body but my mind! Thank you INSIGHT The staff Nurses Counselors Dr. Mark Chinn

Staff is helpful if you have a positive attitude and are really trying to get back on the right track... Very economical, sliding scale prices, free if you have medicare/medicaid. Takes about 2 weeks to do intake and actually see the doctor, so be prepared to attend a few groups before actually seeing doctor. Other alternatives are Crossroads, or ADS Greensboro. If wanting to attend less groups and spend more money, there is also a private clinic in Lexington, or Winston Psychiatric Associates (not recommended)
